Song of the Day: “In A Manner of Speaking” by Nouvelle Vague (Cover)
I had not done digital art in a long time, I had to admit, but the inspiration had run away from me and there was not much I could do on my own to revive it. It took a trip to Joshua Middleton’s site (joshuamiddleton.com) to spark a desire to work on digital illustration again. Using one of his New Mutants cover as a basis, I went ahead and drew this pic of Ariel for my youngest daughter who loves her and has a number of her pictures framed up on the wall. For a while I had been telling myself that I ought to draw them something to put up on the wall so…here goes the first one. Osanah is next and she wants Tinkerbell so, expect one of those in the near future.
